Perth's Fastest VL Commodore in eXtreme Street Magazine!
Keep an eye out for Perth's fastest VL Commodore in the very next issue of eXtreme Street Magazine, which will hit the newsagencies of Australia in the last week of November.
Driven by Phil Purser from Final Drive Engineering and built by Phil in association with Aaron Gregory from In Tune Performance, the single turbo equipped 2JZ-GTE Toyota powered VL recently ran an amazing 9.2 second pass with very high mph.
Some of us just can't wait for this weapon to hit the 8-second department !

YEH Baby, Brett Wilkinsons Turn to Rotary Power Shows in Fast Fours Magazine!
Brett Wilkinson is one of the true pioneers of the WA Modified Car Scene and although well known for his Subaru WRX modifying (PIMPD etc), has in recent times turned to rotary power.
Brett's current RX7 is dressed in a Super Made 4-piece bodykit, wrapped in custom Glasurit Orange paintwork and dumped over 19" Buddy Club P1 rims.

Mini Truck Madness Hits Hot4's Magazine
Beau Pennington's MINYTRUCK has been a great show stopper over the past year or two, with its amazing paint finish and its bouncing suspension setup. After a professional shoot with our one and only leprechaun, Rick McDowell, this car is heading sraight for Hot4's Magazine to be featured in an upcoming issue.

ASSKIKR IS COMING !!
It could be said that we are all looking forward to some 'ass kickin' action this weekend for the opening round of the 2007 / 2008 Perth Motorplex season, but Yvette Gregg is taking the idea to extremes.
Yvette debuted her all new silver 1984 model Super Sedan XE Fairmont Ghia at the Test N Tune meeting a few weeks back, when the car wore NASTI licence plates.
However, at a recent Rick McDowell Photo Journalism shoot for Xtreme Fords Magazine, the car was seen to wear all new ASSKIKR plates and we've been told that there might actually be another name change for the car before Christmas.
This all comes after Yvette's partner and equally mental Ford enthusiast, Aaron Sumpton, ran last season in his MYT 8 XF.
The green XE which Yvette ran last season was dubbed FIVE 1, but no matter which way one looks at it, Yvette and Aaron's licence plate shenanigans is paying off.
Powered by a new 383ci stroker courtesy of Balcatta Engines and with serious suspension mods, ASSKIKR ran a 10.32 @ 101mph at the Test N Tune straight off the trailer.
Keep an eye out for the car this Saturday and if you get into the pits, take a close and detailed look at the car too.
Yvette's new weapon sure proves a few points about how race cars can be immaculate, highly engineered and professionally presented.

Jason has only been racing for 2 seasons and beat a horde of vastly more experienced competitors to clinch the Super Street crown for season '06 / '07

Tuned Breast Cancer Awareness Cruise Makes Hot4s Magazine!
One of the largest cruises I have ever seen to hit Perth has been features over quite a few pages in the latest Hot4s magazine. The cruise attracted over 300 cars to the Hillarys Car Park meet point, all of which were willing to help the cause of raising Breast Cancer awareness. 2006 GM Owners Day - a MONSTER !!
The 2006 GM Owners Day at Bassendean Oval saw 409 vehicles go on display for what was a huge show. Naturally, we’ve got all the action covered for Street Commodores magazine and G X M Magazine. Force Fed LS2 monster ...

Perth Western Salon 2006 - where's the sparkle ?
After being absent from the 2005 calender, the Perth Western Salon was back for 2006, although this year’s show just a few weekends ago didn’t have the same ‘Sparkle’ as previous events. There were still some points of interest though and several new Perth clubs were making their presence felt in a big way. It was also good to see our mate TJ (pictured) launching his International modelling career at the event. See the full event wrap up in Hot 4s.

New local records at Drag Warz
The 2006 Drag Warz event at the Perth Motorplex had a few interesting moments, with Josh Oosterwaal and Simon ‘Butters’ Gemser (pictured) setting some new local records of 10.67 @ 130mph and 10.89 @ 127.29 mph respectively. B REAL S14 200SX heading to overseas magazines in the UK, Italy & Spain !
Driveline.net in association with Rick McDowell Photo Journalism recently spent an afternoon shooting up Paul Chong's neat 200SX - with Canon cameras of course ! The feature will be seen in a future issue of Hot 4s magazine, but Rick McDowell Photo Journalism has managed to already syndicate the feature overseas to Banzai Magazine (UK), Elaborare (Italy) and Auto Max (Spain).

All new 1953 Corvette Top Doorslammer
Adam Croker’s gorgeous new Top Doorslammer is based on a 1953 Corvette and as such is the only 50s Corvette tin top in the country. Starting as a Tim McCamis ‘kit’ from the USA, the car was build and modified here in Perth and uses a 521ci former Bucky Austin engine. Keep an eye out for this beautiful car during the National Open rounds at the Perth Motorplex this season – and in our upcoming feature in eXtreme Magazine.

Low flying green with envy S13
Trainee Perth pilot, Ian Hedges, put this S13 together over the last few years and it sure looks a whole lot better than any Cessna we’ve ever seen.
